I think I'm gonna start an argument right here.

Religious people of Gamespot - hear me out! If you claim a God exists, and he is good, then why is there suffering in the world? Why do the children and the innocent die? Why must evil be a part of free will? Does not God himself create reality? Can he not do the logical impossible EVEN if you believe that EVIL is a part of free will now? Why must the absolute entity spread us as its inferiority, only for us to be reunited in Heaven? That which is perfect need not be reconstructed. Therefore, if there is a God, I am lead to believe that He is IMPERFECT!

Why cant you start your own thread?

There are already enough religion threads out there...

I actually think that Christians are going to hell and atheists are going to heaven... there's nothing you can do about it.

[QUOTE="clembo1990"]I believe that he who should trick, steal and kill the most of his foes will be granted a rightful place in the Elysian fields. Whereas you mortals, gentiles or otherwise, will be forced into Hades for not being as cool as Odysseus.JabbaDaHutt30
And even if it's not true, it's a possibility and people would be fools not to at least try it out (Pascal's Wager).

Thats the thing most christians don't understand about Pascal's wager it only works if you are deciding between two options. His were christianity and athiesism. As you pointed out that if there is a chance any of these religions are true including the belief in Elysian fields then the whole wager self destructs. When they all offer infinity as an outcome it doesn't matter if one religion only has a 1% chance of being correct, or a 95% chance of being correct. The probable outcome is identical.
