It doesn't deserve as much hate as it gets. Yeah, there is an obvious conservative bias, but that doesn't make any source from FOX invalid.

I like Countdown with Keith Olberman and the Daily Show with John Stewart. Those are a bet more about making fun of the news then reporting it, especially the Daily Show.

I am Canadian, so from my understanding we don't have fox news up here.. and i honestly just heard about fox news recently, and how it is terrible.. but i don't understand why? why does everybody hate fox news?

Yeah, that's definitely true, but calling out Fox News for not being fair and balanced (like most of the people here are doing) is a bit hypocritical when you watch some of the news on other stations.

You do realize that the average gamer is 35, right?

Given the number of older gamers, it would be foolish for gaming companies not to expand by producing games targeted at them. The industry has changed significantly since its birth, and is evolving into a mainstream media genre.

You might as well say that all movies are intended for children.

Video games are for people who have lots of time on there hands, also refered to as children. Adults are supposed to have a job and responsibilites. After a certain age you should cut back on the amount of time you spend playing with toys.

However, they're not a good news source since all they do is spew commentary. But that's similar to MSNBC and CNN.

I get my news from the internet, so I can learn all the facts and form my own opinion instead of being told what to think.

That's right the host of a MAJOR news program with 2 other big names in news. Fox News is a news channel. It brings you news and the main sterotypes that idiots think is all Fox News is only about two hours each night.... Only two hours in the day is commentary that is mainly conservative.

During the times when Obama was on his trip, McCain visited a grocery store the first day, then the other went to a sausage house for lunch.

Besides both candidates are not that good nominees at all. I could care less about them.

There are biased news reporters who only show their opinion and want you to agree with them ( EX: Bill O'Riley, Lou Dobbs, etc.... )

They are the least professional news team out there and show themselves to be very immature.

They freaking had a tag match break out randomly on Fox and Friends.....

Oh and that Mass Effect thing is a huge deal seeing as they not only did ZERO research into their "big story" as Jeff so kindly points out, but even when that is brought up they STILL try to jam their bias/agenda down the viewers throats by giving Jeff a MUCH SMALLER window of time....

And yes their bias reeks as well to the point where you can smell it in the wording they use to title their stories. Yes other news stations are biased but at the very least their wording of the story titles isn't biased....

Oh and yeah, they lie more than any other news network at least from what I have seen. I personally stay away from news on the TV.

I think that FNC is alright. I only watch them. However, they pay too much attention on missing white girls and celebrites that are out of it. I think this sort of colors their so called "conservative" bias given the amount of liberal nutjobs in Hollywood.

Oh, and Greta Van Susteran should be fired.

Also, I can't stand Sean Hannity. O'Reilly is an ass half the time but he's not as conservative as everyone thinks. I personally think he's soft on Obama.

Fox has conservative commentators, but I've been watching all the news networks and surprisingly enough, they've been the most fair and balanced.

I didn't say completely, but definitely moreso than MSNBC.

1. It is extremely biased. Yes, I know CNN and MSNBC and all those are biased to an extent, but FOX News does not even try to hide it.

2. The people they have host shows are absolutely crazy, and a lot of returning guests are even worse. Bill O'Reilly, Ann Coulter, Brit Hume, Sean Hannity. A lot are complete idiots as well; they are arch-conservatives who make easy money appealing to the casual conservatives out there

3. Theyre rude to their guests. If a soldier comes on and says he supports Bush, he gets a "god bless you" from the host. If a soldier comes on and argues against the war in iraq, he gets a "you should be ashamed of yourself".

4. They pick on people and places. The Bay Area, my home area, is constantly a target of their shows. So we are liberal in the Bay Area, thats our right. Just like its your right to be conservative. The only difference is we dont have a cable news channel to tell everyone to live like us.

5. In general, FOX News is just bullsquat. In a way, I like to watch it because its funny. It allows me to get inside the minds of conservatives, and its funny and embaressing watching these old farts and mindless young tools spout of nonsense.
