CNN isn't liberal. It's the only balanced station out there.

No, Fox conciously distorts facts and lies to further it's agenda. CNN simply doesn't have a conservative slant so some conservatives mark it as liberal because it doesn't go crazy over the same things they do "WHAT?! They arn't talking about Obamas smoking habit?! SOCIALISTS!". CNN actually reports the news without tossing in talking heads. CNN anchors are REPORTERS where as FOX news are commentators.

It's like this

FOX if you want a conservative spin

MSNBC if you want a liberal spin

CNN if you want the news.

Me neither... I went through a phase last year where I was up to date on quite a bit of stuff, but I sorta fizzled out this year. =/

I'm still curious as to how Fox news actually reported an article from the weekly world news as fact, considering that the WWN is known for publishing stories about batboy....

Can you tell me the liberal stations that photoshop the pictures of republicans or conservatives to make them look threatening, accidently put "R" infront of a democrat politicians name if they do something bad, lower or mute out applause at Palin rallies, and cut away footage of democrat rallies to bigger rallies to make them look bigger?

dude im not excusing fox or anything. Yeah they do some messed up stuff but come on its not 24/7 they pull that crap. 98% of the time the station is just conservative and then its like the 2% of insanity that gets all the attention and that goes for everything. They arent the only ones who go nuts as well, I mean ive heard dudes on msnbc say just the thought of obama having an upcoming speech gets him sexually aroused so idk.

The only reason the things other stations dont get called out on propoganda as much is because no one cares. Everyone loves to make fun of fox. I dont think John Stewart would even have a job without them.. Its basically 1 vs. 100 so they have every other news station attacking them and calling them out on everything so they look alot worse than the other stations while Imo they really arent that much worse than anyone else is.. they just get more attention.

I've yet to see ANY news program that was 100% "Fair and Balanced".

so to answer the question TC, hell no, there's nothing "Balanced" about Fox News. I'm sure uber hardcore Republicans find the views fair though.

Anyways, I noticed something funny today, Fox was adamant that the President and Stewart were too nonchalant yesterday, while MSNBC thought Stewart was being too unfair with his questioning.

That must mean the Daily Show is fair and balanced.

The "news" part of The Daily Show is farcical but Stewart is actually one of the best interviewers in the business.

It's because Fox goes to FAR greater lengths than any of the other stations to be biased. MSNBC can't even hold a candle to them in biased lying reporting.

The best news channel is ABC News 24 in Australia. Zero ads, no commercial bias, in-depth interviews with no focus on ratings over quality reporting (it averages 0.5% of total audience, beaten by the digital foreign language channel). Only suggestion I would give to them is to have more BBC News overnight instead of repeating programs from the previous day. They currently only broadcast 1 hour worth of BBC News instead of a potential 6 hours.

It's the most watched news network in the US because unlike every other news station, it doesn't try to be poitically correct.

Their reporting is the most fair and balanced of the networks. Their opinion is the most unbalanced that I've ever seen, although my cable doesn't provide MSNBC so I don't have that to compare it against.
