I prefer The Daily Show and/or Colbert Report. On a side-note, I was talking to one of my friends who said they thought FOX News was more moderate than CNN...:lol::roll:

Personally I like Rachel Maddow and Laurence O'Donnell, but I also listen to a lot of NPR and tune into C-Span. Not sure I can count C-Span as news, but I also don't really know what else to classify it as.

MSNBC is the left version of Foxnews which is far right. Out of those 3 CNN is by far the most moderate. Although I do watch foxnews more often. But I visit CNN's site quite a bit.

Why do you include Fox in a thread about news channels? :P If it was about rhetoric and propaganda it would crush everyone outside of state-run dictatorship media.

They are all terrible. CNN used to be a fantastic news organization until they lost their grip almost 10 years ago. Today, the only news stations worth watch are BCC, Al Jazeera and Russia Today.

I watch Fox. I prefer their hard news programs. Sheppard Smith is great. Chris Wallace is also good. I think their on-air personalities try not to be so stuffy. They have fun. The only commentator I like on ANY of the networks is O'Reilly. I don't watch any of the others since I don't really care for commentary shows. CNN is dry but they are still okay for hard news. MSNBC is also okay for hard news. Obviously if you lean left Fox News is the devil, but that's really based off of their commentators. And that's totally fine.

I usually swap back and forth between CNN and MSNBC. I suppose I favor CNN, though. The Daily Show and The Colbert Report get some credit, too.

Wikileaks ^_^
If i get news i want to have access to the documents or who said what.

I don't trust the local media from a lot of experience and one friend who works for local media... don't know whether the international media is any better. I don't expect it to be.

You got to Fox if you want a conservative spin

You go to MSNBC if you want a liberal spin.

You go to CNN if you want the news.

The best 24 hour news service, in my opinion, is ABC News 24. It's broadcast free-to-air, has no paid commercials or advertisements, is impartial, and is of good quality. Sure there are some technical stuff-ups sometimes, however the quality of the reporters, presenters, and programs are second to none. It sources stories both domestically and globally from their own reporters or the BBC. Shows like The Drum, The World, and Lateline Business are excellent to watch and leave networks like Fox and CNN to shame.

Neither of them. BBC and Al-Jazeera English.

CNN is one big hypocritical station "The best political team on television" yeah right, that's why you lot are less credible than the Daily Show when it comes to pointing out the **** U.S Politician spout. MSNBC I don't watch it, too pro Israel and they're too preachy. Fox news, a lot of ignorance on that show, Shepard Smith seems to be the only sane person there. I do watch O'reilly sometimes for the lols.

All in all the only two newstations I've seen that are somewhat credible are to comedy shows, The Daily Show and the Colbert Report. Russia Today on youtube also seem fairly balanced. Folks don't believe the crap Rumsfeld said and try giving Al-Jazeera English a go, then compare their news with BBC's and you will see that all the unfounded lies on how biased Al-Jazeera is, are exactly that, lies.

None of them. I occasionally watch CTV (Canadian news) but otherwise I usually just read national newspapers.

Honestly, I rarely watch any news stations. The voices in my head are the most reliable source of information. :3

Something's only biased if it disagrees with my opinions in some way. If it supports whatever notions I have at the moment, then it's factual.

MSNB's dropped significantly in quality in past weeks (maybe due to their recent merge with Comcast), so I'd say CNN or BBC.

CNN is the best news channel.
