[QUOTE="imaps3fanboy"][QUOTE="worlock77"]

The American public has no power to impeach a sitting President. The only thing the American public could do is....nothing actually. They only thing they could do is vote him out of office with the next election, but since this would be in his second term that would be a moot point.

worlock77

He would get assassinated or something. Don't underestimate stupidity

There ya go. Keep shifting the goalposts away from your original claim.

Yeah, what a highly thought out, complex claim I was trying to make.

Notice the smiley face I ended at the end?

You say that as if I was trying to make a profound statement, when in fact it was meant as social satire.

Franklin Graham is an idiot trying to get some attention and get out from his daddy's shadow.

PResident Obama says he's a Christian, so I believe him.

I wouldn't be surprised if Obama was an atheist.

Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if he was truly a Christian, so w/e.

I'm just enjoying all the hatred for the Republican GOP here....

Weren't we talking about Obama's religious beliefs a while ago?

who cares? he's the president. as long as his religious views don't interfere with his job, he's allowed to be anything he wants, as far as i'm concerned.

I watched a video of Obama speaking to a group of Christian pastors a year or two ago. He explained what Jesus meant to him to these pastors. What he explained only dealt with Jesus as a moral example to us and it had nothing to do with the forgiveness of sins. As such, I am inclined to believe that Obama is culturally a Christian but is not one who has been changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. As such, I am sadly am unable to consider him my brother in Christ. However, I believe Obama's "spiritual condition" has little to do with his presidency. I would rather a good president who does not know Christ be in office than a bad president who does know Christ. Personally speaking, I love certain things about Franklin Graham when it comes to his preaching of the gospel. However, I do not like when he tries to play politics. The preaching of the gospel should be from the pulpit, not the oval office.

Does that mean that knowing Christ had no bearing on if you are good or bad?

Well, I'm of the notion that all are bad aside from Jesus Christ. However, every person regardless of religious affiliation or lack thereof is capable of some social good. I am not of the belief that Christianity's purpose is to made people to be more moral but that Christianity's purpose is to lead sick people to the great physician who is Christ. Christianity is for those who know they are sinners, not for those who believe themselves to be morally superior.

I get tired of that analogy as well. However, that is because of it being so overused /cliche and less because of its untruthfulness.

There's a substantial number of Muslims in America now. All the past Presidents have been Christian, that we know of. Seems things have taken their logical course....

Especially since most churches are social clubs rather than places for spiritual healing

He's Christian, but the funnier thing is why it even matters, it's been made a big deal by the far right, but really even if he isn't that realistically wouldn't affect his ability to run a country.

[QUOTE="Necrifer"]

I bet banjo's secretly a hardcore conservative.

Banjo_Kongfooie

Lol? If I was a secret hardcore conservative I could not use a computer... Unless you mean only economic conservative... But if I was that I would not waste my time here but rather hoarding and counting my money.

Though you gave me an idea lol, if I acted like a conservative would you guys hate that? Are you only hating on me and not my policies?

You already tried that with your Super_MooRio account.
