Wait a few weeks...Paramount is re-releasing the first three film in the series before the remake hits theaters. Part one will be an UNCUT version of the film, Part two will have a whole bunch of special features, and par three (which was filmed in 3D) will include 3D glasses. All three wil come out Feb. 3. Shame they didn't add special features when the box set came out a few years ago.I've seen Freddy vs Jason. It's rather "meh".Watchable I suppose, but doesn't really live up to the originals.
Ive seen them all, I really think the first four are the only ones I would watch today. Part 5 is ridiculous and after that the rest are pretty bad.nikolai37Five did suck, but Jason Lives was entertaining. The rest blew, but they're still fun to watch after all these years.

It seems absurd that they made that many sequels. I'm starting to watch them again in anticipation for the remake.

Hollywood today likes to milk its franchises to the bone. Until there is not a dollar left to be made.

Today? They've been doing that for a long time. Between the first film and Jason X you got 21 years worth of sequels. The James Bond films are another example.[QUOTE="ThePlothole"][QUOTE="Hallenbeck77"] It seems absurd that they made that many sequels. I've never really liked slasher movies. There are a few exceptions like the original Halloween and even Alien. But that's about as far as my interest in the genre goes.PlasmaBeam44
:lol:Alien is not a slasher movie!
The uncut original Friday the 13th is coming out on blu-ray. I may actually pick that up. As with most movies, the first is always the best.
