TC says he will make funny pictures but he makes the worst one of them all. And Im tired of the Obama pictures

I've been doing some HDR photography lately, so here are a few compositions of mine:

These are all created by taking three exposures of the same scene, at different shutter speeds (well, different exposure values, which equates to shutter speed for all practical purposes), and then combining them together in a layered fashion so that every area of the scene is properly exposed (i.e. nothing is burnt out or in shadow).

Then there's just the matter of adjusting contrast and colour tone, since HDR images can end up looking a little flat "out of the box."

I didn't make this but i took the picture and that is as close as i can get to "Made".

sadly the flash of the camera upset the shepard and it ripped out the girls juggular :cry:

HDR can be cool, but personally I seem to prefer more contrasty images, usually with no detail in the shadows. Yours are interesting though.

I find I devote a lot of effort to that issue; I really try to produce HDRs that retain a lot of contrast, but which still push beyond the normal dynamic range one would expect in a photo.

To be sure, though, I do a number of non-HDR images too that often rely on shadow to give definition.
