So today at work I was on break and my supervisor asked me who I am going to vote for. When I replied "I haven't made up my mind yet." she said "Well I'm gonna vote for McCain...I really like Sarah Palin." When I inquired as to why she liked her so much she said "Well she has the most executive experience out of the three of them." A little part of me died inside. Again. I haven't made my mind up yet, and I don't claim to be an expert on the subject, but I think that was possibly one of the dumbest things I've ever heard in my entire life.

...Well, she's technically right. A Senator, like Obama and Biden have been is not an executive position, whereas governor, in the case of Palin is an executive position. EDIT: Though I don't know what "best out of the three" means...I can only assume she's ignoring McCain.

I believe she was referring to McCain, Obama, and Palin. Again, it is as you say...technically she is right (as I said before I'm no expert on the subject) however I think I should clarify a few things:

First off we're talking about a woman who is a has dual citizenship, so really, she can't even vote. So when she says, "I'm voting so and so" I guess she means she convinced her husband to vote in for said person.

Second, by the way she was talking, when she said executive experience, it seemed like she meant political experience in general. Again, this woman is also a Canadian citizen, and normally doesn't even pay attention to American politics. Except this time she got into it when Palin was chosen.

It seems that it is I have made a fool of myself haha. I don't really care. Gotta laugh at yourself once in a while. Still, she likes Palin and I am terrified at the thought of having her in office.

I'm Canadian, but I still care about the presidential election. I'd want Obama to win because he seems to know what he's doing. And he's not a warmonger like McCain. Besides, McCain reminds me too much of bush.
