My problem is that I'm such a fan of the older episodes is that that's ALL I watch. I'm not that upset about this though, all things considered. It's better to die a great show then live to become anything less.

great show but been getting old just like family guy, IMO wasn't a show i would go out of my way to watch
Comedy Central has decided to make the upcoming seventh season its last, and the series finale will air this September, featuring Fry and Leela's wedding. What do you think about this? While I definetely had fond memories of the show in its early years, the show has showed a noticeable drop in quality, so I'm kind of glad they are going, since they are starting to overstay their welcome, and a few more shows could learn this lesson (Family Guy, The Office, ect.). It was until it was brought back by comedy central. The old episodes were great, the ones on CC were mediocre.I thought it cancelled years ago, honestly.

Me too. I still need to watch the season from last year. I forgot about it last summer. xDIt had a good run. Still, I'll always prefer the classic episodes to the newer ones.Â

Yeah same! Also, I still need to watch The Late Philip J Fry, apparently it's really good :P
I love Futurama, it will be dearly missed. Also, I have no idea when Family Guy and America Dad will end, it feels like Seth never wants those shows to end and have them go on forever like The Simpsons.Comedy Central has decided to make the upcoming seventh season its last, and the series finale will air this September, featuring Fry and Leela's wedding. Seconded.
The Futurama movies were a blast though.
New episodes were painfully unfunny/ tried way too hard to recreate the emotion that episode with Fry's dog did but was just boring and not sad or heartfelt
[QUOTE="Hallenbeck77"][QUOTE="Deadpool-n"]The Simpsons keep going just for the fact it's still a cash cow for Fox, although next season may be its last. As far as Family Guy, I felt it should have never came back after it was cancelled the first time, but that's just me. I may be crazy.......but the last season or two of the Simpons have been quite decent. 2-11 quality? Hell no......but better than the period in betweenExactly... The Simpsons has been terrible for quite a long time. Even Family Guy is dragging on, it also needs to end.

Strangely, the way I've seen it is the Simpsons has dropped off in quality quite a bit in comparison to its old seasons, but it's still better than most of its competition on today.
A low-quality Simpsons episode from the last 5 years is still better than a post-cancellation Family Guy episode, or any of it's 50 spin-offs, at least to my personal tastes.
still liked the older episodesmrmusicman247this. the new episodes were just random shit with nonsense and cheap internet memes thrown in
it didnt have a good run, it got cancelled and drop alot over a period of like 12-13 yearIt had a good run. Still, I'll always prefer the classic episodes to the newer ones.Â

Pretty far out man.It had a good run. Still, I'll always prefer the classic episodes to the newer ones.Â
