Im going to go the obvious route and say Halo. I'd really like to see Army of Two. Hollywood couldnt mess it up because its already a dull series to most but I think for a movie it has potential. I liked the first game a lot. Oh and I'd like to see Mass Effect get the movie treatment that way I could actually follow the plot.
The Temeraire series and I just found out that Peter Jackson acquired the rights to the series. Unfortunately he said he doesn't want to make a film based on the first book so he'll make a miniseries instead :?

just go watch any mindless 80's action film and image the characters are called soap etc etc a well done 40k movie would be awesome,like during the horus heresy or the crusade of Sebastian Thor.Also Dune would make a good movie and hopefully the version they making now will make up for the david lynch one from the 80's.A horror novel called Midnights lair would also make for a very good film but, they'd proberly have to edit alot out or risk a ban as there alot of messed up stuff in that,there a scene were a guy r@pes a women and then when he's finished he turns her over and its his mother who he thought was dead for past 10 years.man that book was messed up,must look out for it again
I just read 'The Road' recently and have yet to see the film, but I'm really looking forward to it now.
Mostly I don't think books or games are necessarily improved by being made into films. Quite the opposite in fact. I was thinking the Killzone series would make a good film maybe, but actually it's pretty darn film-like as it is, most good cut scenes are nowadays.

This is almost non-debatable IMO, but that doesn't necessarily mean they don't have to exist. It being inferior doesn't mean its inherently bad.
Personally, I get very little enjoyment out of watching movies based on games or books...even the best of them I would rather just read the book or play the game then sit through the movie. :P
I still think that the Dark Tower series could make a great series of movies. I've not read the books yet; I'm basing this on the premise of the books alone. J.J. Abrams (Lost) has the rights to write a Dark Tower proposal, which can then be either okay'd or denied by Stephen King.
They did Hitman movie... which was completly cr.p bag... and while he was jumping to balcony he saw ppl playing hitman... what the hell ?.... Seriously.. make a good movie instead of sh.... :| I regret that i have seen it...

Doesnt matter to me, they dont need to show his face. Someones voice has to fit Cheifs though. And he has to have real dialouge with a deep personality behind the mask. Not some crappy one liners.
