troahbarton was unique in that his occupation was working at his own local ISP. Because troah was a frequent rampage poster and capable of hacking, CJayC (Administrator) apparently called the ISP. troahbarton reportedly picked up and told CJayC they would immediately disconnect all services for this malicious user and hung up with him and continued about his day.
