I see in people's sigs things like "married to the lovely ________"

so just how many of you are there that are married to other gamespot users???

was it like, "honey what is this gamespot thing you're always on?"

"oh it's cool, look I'll set you up an account"

or did some of you actually hook up via this thing!!!! that would be too weird!

how come we have 10k post parties but no weddings!!!!!

Its funny because this is an internet forum where people talk about games and stuff and it would be highly unlikely for users to actually get married due to the anonymity of the site and the setting of the internet forum....

After seeing her picture in a post your face thread I asked out AcronymsFTW in a PM. In it, I included a picture of a diamond ring. She said something about, "Not the cubic zirconia." and posted a picture of another diamond ring. I didn't understand what she meant. And here I am. :|Razor-Lazor

Although I wholeheartedly believe that long-distance relationships can be genuine, very few of the "marriages" on GameSpot are lasting. Part of this is just due to the nature of the site; it doesn't really promote a lot of intimate disclosure, plus much of the userbase is rather young and immature in the first place.

Yeah, the ladies are getting more demanding about rings. Here is a description of cubic zirconia. Personally, I wouldn't mind the ring anyway... I would probably lose it anyway. :lol:
