it depends.i prefer ign if im looking for news or reviews.since gamespot is so slow with them. and i generally agree with ign more. but if your talking about user profiles and the forums.i go with gamespot.the site seems or polished.and not so cluttered. yeah, and i dont think this thread should be in OT. probably in gereraly games discussion.

I find gamespot easier to use than ign, the ign network is to complex for me

plus gamespot paid services give bigger bang for my buck

Gamespot, I love it here. I don't visit IGN a lot as much, and for good reasons too.

To make the perfect game site we must fuse... Gamesradar's feature writing, IGN's game coverage, GT's reviews and Gamespot's community forums, profiles, etc.

I come here for OT and I don't go to IGN, so I can't really say.

I don't get it... Why do you think IGN community is worse than Gamespot's? Same people, same forums...?

Gamespot's is far easier to navigate and I like it's organization. IGN seems a lot more sloppy but talks about more than just games.

GameSpot has weird commercials. I'm really tired of Chris O'Donnell staring at me with that smirk on my face. He must thinking about his Boy Wonder days. So, IGN.Genetic_Code
NCIS could be the worse how ever. Chris O'Donnell, LL Cool J, playing as cops in LA. Do people actually think this will become a hit?>

I don't visit IGN, so Gamespot wins by default.

IGN's layout is pretty terrible, so GameSpot wins.

IGN forums are much more in-depth (as are things like game walkthroughs and etc)

Gamespot has a much better sense of community what with the forums and everything. IGN forums are pretty horrible

IGN: Better site.
GSAU: Better community as much as it pains me to say it.

Gamespot is slightly better with the reviews. The forums here are far better. So Gamespot.
