Sad....
Pretty nuts. Still early, but double-suicide is what I read is suspected?
No sympathy for whoever killed the dog.

Who murdered the dog, or are you just leaping to a meritless conclusion?
Read the entire conversation and don't come in at the end not knowing what's going on but forming an opinion.

You did not answer my question.
There is not much of a conversation. One of you speculate suicide and the other said no sympathy for who murdered a dog. Only difference between you two: Bojangles said it's speculation whereas you spoke as if there was a matter of fact.
So, again, what merits are we talking about?

I'm not going to answer your question. Either follow a conversation or don't. I don't teach reading comprehension. I replied to a comment, not the first one here, that mentioned double suicide. The dog didn't commit suicide.
@LJS9502_basic: Pompous douche, lol.
Unsurprising coming from you.
Not my fault you don't understand what you're reading. I don't particularly respect you so I'm not going to placate you.

You are a cold, bitter person, so no offense taken. Lol

You seem to be the miserable one wanting to start arguments. You started with me. I generally ignore you.

I asked you a simple question: what merits did you come to that conclusion? That was not an argument, I wanted clarity in what made you come to that conclusion and whether or not is was based on any merit.
Then you responded like the Pompous douche you usually are: "read the two-word "conversation" and then "I don't respect you so I'm not going to engage. "
It's cute really, and I hope one day you become a little more self-aware.
@jaydan: You sure want attention. Sorry you get ignored dude.
That's ironic. Lol
Anyway, you came into an RIP thread blazing no sympathize for something based off no merit.
Continued the douchebaggery with your responses towards me, and then blame me for your own BS.
Anyhow, I'm not going to let this continue to detract from what should have been the nature of this thread over your douchebaggery, so others have a chance to express their feelings or pay their respects.
Gene Hackman was a legend, and one of the greats. I know this death has hit a lot of people and let them have their moment.

Cry harder. Maybe the internet isn't for you if you can't handle other people's opinions.
So from what i've been reading pills where spilt, and one the dogs was found dead a fair distance from them, door open, radiator moved, other dog fine.
Odd stuff. Originally claimed gas, but it seems like it's not that.
Wait and see I guess.

I suppose. Still hope no one hurt the dog intentionally.
Sounds from the situation at least that they decided to check out on their own terms.
No disagreements there, I admire those who take initiative in their ends when they feel they‘ve done enough in the world and are left with nothing much more to look forward to than the detriments of old age.
RIP.

If true, I am going to agree. Hopefully the pooch died because the owners were dead but isn't there something about two other dogs being alive? I wonder if the dog ate some type of medication since the police said a spilled bottle of medication was near the woman.

Possibly. You could be right and it was an accident. Cheers.

Yes, father died of motor neuron disease and mother cancer (not cancer itself infection) gurgling water for days on end, where everyone just sits around unpleasantly waiting for the inevitable.
Whenever have to put my dogs down, and did so with two recently, people mistake me as being cold because typically get it over and done with and don't go through all the drama.
But it's the case above seeing parents slowly die been hammered in that the dogs are actually very lucky in the sense a simple needle, without really knowing what is going on prevents suffering and sends them off fast.
In reality many humans do not have this.

Yeah, it sucks, and is totally depressing to witness.
My father passed in Nov, and his last six-eight months were a decline into sheer misery. Not just for him, but for everyone. When he was still able to speak, he was constantly expressing a desire to go, asking if there were pills to stop his heart, etc. Hospital stay after hospital stay. Then he languished in hospice for about a week, delirious, rambling nonsense, looking like a corpse awaiting the formality. My mother is now in the ravages of advanced dementia, and don't even get me started on what an indignity that entails. I hate to say it, but I don't doubt, had she the choice if she could be aware enough to know the situation she's currently in, that she'd decide to depart in a heartbeat.
Pets definitely do have it better. There's no reason we should keep people ready to die alive just because of the "sanctity" of human life or whatever. Rubbish. There comes a point where it's nothing but pain and misery and a drain on everyone else.....and at that point, there is no point. My father was practically begging, and he had to wither away until his body gave up the ghost. I miss the dude, but his passing was ultimately a relief to all.
Not sure that a suicide pact was the circumstances here, but if so, there's nothing wrong with that. Hope they're both at peace.
