I think it is possible that they exist, but in my opinion they don't. I think a lot of ghostly encounters are just people thinking that they've seen something. High EMF levels make people feel paranoid and like they are being watched, so I think that is one explanation for supposedly paranormal activity. Another thing that some people mistake for an encounter with a ghost is sleep paralysis.

I have seen no convincing evidence from a credible source so far. The things that the evps are supposedly saying are usually a pretty big stretch and the real source of the noise can be caused by any number of things. The usual orbs captured on video and pictures are hardly convincing either. They're usually just reflections of light, dust, bugs, camera malfunctions, etc...

I know the effect of a flash in a dusty room, and I can easily recognize things like overexposure, lens haze, and motion blur.

I used to believe in ghosts, but now I can't seem to find a good way to justify their existence. I'm an atheist, I don't believe in an afterlife, and I don't believe in souls. I'd love to believe in ghosts since I've always loved the idea and I've always been very much into supernatural things, but I don't know anymore. :(

That's a pretty ignorant thing to say, and i believe in ghosts, so please, respect the ideas of others.
I think this question is more opinion-based if you know what I mean. Different cultures and religions have different beliefs, so I guess that would depend on who you ask this question to. Personally, I do believe there are ghosts, but not in the sense that they hang out in their old houses and scare people for no obvious reason.

Im in the same boat lol I use to love ghost shows until I became an atheist and actually needed credible evidence before I believe something.
Since there's no scientific evidence of anything remotely supernatural, I'd have to go by the logical answer: no, I don't believe ghosts exist. Until proven otherwise of course.

I saw one at the mall on Monday. And my friend saw it too, so I'm guessing that yes it actually existed and wasn't in my mind.

Nope, I swear it was a ghost. Very pale woman with bleached hair that was almost white also, dressed in all white. My friend and I looked at each other, looked back at her and she was gone :o
