I'd say aliens since our universe is so huge. Statistically, the universe should have several forms of life on different planets given its sheer size.

Creatures living on other far away distant planets seems a lot more believable, logical and realstic than the spirit of a dead man wandering about.
Aliens, for reasons that have already been stated multiple times in this thread. Whether or not we've been visited by them is another question entirely (the answer to which I would presume is 'no'), but I really don't get how ghosts are more believable to some people on the poll.
If you still don't believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life in this day and age, you are an ignorant buffoon with no place in a thinking society.
I'm a natural Doubting Thomas. I don't believe in ghosts. I barely believe in aliens. The only aliens/extraterrestials I think I may see in my lifetime will be microbial. I do believe there may be some yet "undiscovered" creatures which may have survived prehistoric times such as this:

Just to put some perspective for you guys.. There are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on the earth.. Thats right, more stars than all the grains of sand counted individually.. Each star may have upwards to 100 satilites around it with planets and moons.. sSubZerOo
I'm sure the possibilities are endless. But to me, they're meaningless until I see proof. I felt the same way about black holes until proof came along:
