Only 13 reviews so far, 11 positive. The reviewers seem pretty unknown though.

I wonder how this movie will go, I thought it would flop. Oh well, I'll have to wait.

In other news, District 9 is 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, with only 8 reviews.

I think both of them will drop once they're actually released.

Thats actually a good percentage because most movies you see on rotten tomatoes are usually like 20 percent fresh. Thats awesome. I actually thought this movie was going to be pure stupidity but the commercials look pretty badass.

I think both movies look mediocre and I'm not going to see either until they come out on blu-ray.

When I first saw the preview for it I thought it was Halo, but then it said Gi Joe. Then I said to my friend, this is gonna flop.

It only has 13 reviews because they are afriad to show the film to most critics which usually means that they studio thinks it will be ripped apart. I think by the time it comes out that 85% will most likely go down a lot. From the commercials it looks really bad.SaintLeonidas

Well this film might go the same way transformers did, it'll make money the critics will trash it but it will make them money, but actually im thinking it could be decent and will make some good movie just because it's Gi joe

I can see district 9 getting good ratings regardless because it's peter jackson. The G.I. Joe movie though... I thought it was gonna be baaddd : /Setsa

Actually, District 9 isn't a Peter Jackson movie. It's a Neil Blankomp (or Blankoff, Blopkoff, or something equally funny-sounding) movie.

I have a feeling that I got the name wrong, but I'm pretty sure Peter Jackson is only a producer. Sort of like when Hostel came out, and all the ads kept saying stuff like "Quentin Tarantino presents Hostel". Just to confuse people into thinking it was a Quentin Tarantino movie so that they'd buy a ticket.+

But yeah, Peter Jackson isn't directing District 9, and it's this Blopkomp guy's first movie.

Yeah I seriously thought that G.I. Joe would be panned by critics just like Transformers 2 was. But when it actually comes out it will probably drop. Wolverine had a 100% with around the same number of reviews and dropped to a mere 37% when it came out.

District 9 looks pretty promising though.

They expect it to be corny like it was back then. I've seen a few episodes and if they made it like that, this movie would not be taken seriously.

The former will surely drop, but don't be surprised if not by much. The latter has a good chance to surpass The Hurt Locker for best reviewed film for the year. Yes, the hype, buzz and positive reaction to it from geeks and non-geeks alike from The Con is real.

looks horrible and it will be because one of the wayne brothers is in the movie... It looks too cheesy.... we shall see what the critics say though i bet it ends up getting a 54 percent at best.....

I personally thought it would fail hard. Thats awesome.
