Giant Mushroom Cloud Appears in Beijing (videos and pictures)

So no one exactly knows what caused the cloud to form, but the Chinese Government claims "Straw Burning was the cause", denying any other accusations.

What do you all think was the cause? I don't think Straw Burning can cause a mushroom cloud this size. :P

If people bothered clicking the link the TC provided and and saw the two videos posted by the Huffington Post then maybe they'd see how it looks like a mushroom cloud. Personally have no idea what it is from or why it occurred, but it is a bit ridiculous that Chinese police arrested two individuals who posted on the internet that it was a an explosion at either a steel refinery or chlorine plant.

That isn't what assumed it would look like. I thought it would be a nuke cloud which is distinctly shaped like a mushroom. The pics in the OP look more like a smoke signal.

Clearly it was simply one of these clouds passing through a large thunderstorm cell (all kinds of lighting strikes in the cell in video) at sunset.
