GS is BY FAR the furthest thing from the "best gaming site" on the interwebz. this place has gone down the toilet and isnt showing signs of getting better.

Sounds mor elike to me he just thinks Jeff can't do a good review, which he can't. He let's his personal taste of games dictate scores completely.

First off... That never even happened... Jeff said it himself... Secondly, I don't trust his reviews because I feel that he has a bias that just won't work with reviewing video games. Of course you need an opinion, but I think that his bias gets in the way of his reviewing too much. Don't even try to call me a fanboy, I have both the Wii and the 360 and I respect the PS3 (somewhat, Lol), but Come on! Condemned gets a 5 and Brawl gets a 4... I know you're going to say, "But it's his opinion!". Fine then, I don't like his opinion, I think other people's (the majority.. go figure...) opinions have more validity and I respect them more.

I could honestly give a rats about what that bias fanboy has to say,
didn't like his reviews when he was here, not going to his new site to read his bias reviews when I'm there.

It's all about perception. GS is just as useful to me now as it's ever been. I still trust their reviews, and I get amused by the forums from time to time (but please cut down on religion threads people, alright?). VanOrd is nowhere near as bad as people make him out to be.

So I have no reason to leave GS, or to follow some obese gamer who's somehow become a god in many people's minds. Sure, I didn't mind Gerstmann's reviews (except for his atrocious K&L review). He can write and express himself pretty well. But to talk about him like he's some sort of a deity is slightly distasteful to my sensibilities. I did check out GiantBomb, and it seems like nothing special. I'll go there for reviews occassionaly, but that's about it.

GS has been good to me, so GS shall remain my main source of gaming related stuff (along with Eurogamer, which has really good reviews)...
