I don't believe the reason he was fired was made public. Assumptions are something to avoid.;)
It's all about perception. GS is just as useful to me now as it's ever been. I still trust their reviews, and I get amused by the forums from time to time (but please cut down on religion threads people, alright?). VanOrd is nowhere near as bad as people make him out to be.
