Controllers are always good because everybody always needs new controllers. Sony or 360 online network gift cards if they like to download items, new DLC, and movies are always appreciated. There are a lot of books involving game series like Halo, Resident Evil, Warhammer, Gears of War and if they really like OPS games and are interested in the genre there are tons of books on modern tactical squads.
Then there's always shirts and hoodies involving any area of interest as well as figurines and models.
Books, movies, clothing. Why give a gamer anything but games, unless if they specifically writes a wishlist saying NO GAMES ?Deihjan

Haha, well, I see myself as a gamer, and I never get games from my family. I hardly have 'plenty' of games. In fact, I'd LOVE it if my family gave me games :D
