Girlfriend of two years hinting at marriage

Yea, that's what I'm thinking about.

Here is why; For the past couple of months a lot of people close to her and friends of her have been saying "i do" and getting married. A few days ago she was at her moms house and told me that her mom and her were talking about our marriage. AM I CRAZY OR WHAT! Yesterday she said she looked at our future wedding cake on the internet and saved it to her favorites.

SAME THING ABOUT A BABY! She is talking about their names and what they will be, a boy or a girl.

Am I looking into things too much or am I on the right path?

Dude if you've been dating for that long, just sit'er down & have a sincere talk about it. I've been dating a girl for only 4 months & I know I'm in love. We've talked about kids names & marrage (SP?) one day. I don't find it weird that two people in love talk about something like this. If anything it seems like you're scared of the whole idea of marriage (SP?) :P

Do you want to get married, or not?

Are you ready to get married, or not?

If you want to get married, but are not ready, what are you doing about getting ready?

If you do not want to get married, and she does, how long is she supposed to wait around for you to want to get married?

Dude, **** what your friends and acquaintances are doing. **** what other people think. You know better than I do what SHE wants. Does she actually want to start a family and get married with you, or not? Really dude, you would know this better than any of us. You've been dating her, we haven't. You know her, we don't. Does she want to get married, or not?

Also, I am not afraid of marriage at all. I want to marry her. She was the girl I chased for 4 years. I love her to death! I don't think she wants to get married now because she says she wants to wait until she is finished with her nursing stuff and she says she isn't ready for a baby right now but she wants to have one with me. I know all of this. None of this is new to me. I am just confused on not if she wants to marry me but when. I mean she won't even kiss me around her mom or even let me hold her around her family. She is shy. That's why I think she is just "thinking" about our marriage and not actually wanting to get married NOW. Same with the baby situation.

I was just laid OFF of work, I'm sure she knows we have to wait until we are both a little more established.

My friends know me. They always say "Mike Hawk is the man."

It is just that I don't know if she is that PROUD of me to marry me right now or to evenshow affection towards me around her family. Any other time she is all over me. We are two very different people. Her family is different than mine. They are all close. My family can go years without speak to one another.

And, I don't know if I'm ready to have abunch of little "Mike Hawk's" running around.
