Girls that smoke....attractive???

I am a smoker, I dont know if that makes me bias....I dont think it does, I always remember thinking it looked rather alluring in old movies way before I started. I just find it inexplicably attractive. Just saw a promotional picture of a very sexy looking Lana Del Rey with a smoke hanging from the corner of her mouth and felt compelled to ask my fellow gamespotters. Perhaps its the combo of the blood red lipstick and the white stick, maybe its slightly phallic, maybe its the "bad girl" vibe. I honestly couldnt tell you why I like it decisively. What say ye gamespotters? YAY or NAY

I appreciate the dangers of smoking, I am not ignorant to the health implications nor am I really passing comment on them in this topic.

It can be a major turn on for me, when done with style and spontaneity of course. If its cliched and forced or if it dump as **** like the photo in the OP then it becomes the complete opposite.

Frankly, I find that spot of lipstick on the cigarette disgusting. I generally find smoking a turn off.

i stopped talking to a really hot girl because she smoked. also my current gf quit smoking to stay with me so yeah, i kinda hate it.

So actually there is an overwhelming dislike of women who smoke...and at best a mild indifference. Only myself and one other poster who find it sexy...even then under circumstances. How....disappointing.

Cigarettes really are bad. They cause impotence. I have no good reason to be with a woman who would cause that illness to affect anyone and especially me.

dont think i could date a girl who smoked no matter how good she looked or how awesome her personality was. they cause cancer and i cant stand the smell of them. they look cool in videos/pictures but in reality are just not cool.

the only upside to doing weed instead of cigarettes is that there are no long term effects.

Weed doesn't smell as bad, most people don't chain smoke joints like cigarettes, weed doesn't tar up and ruin your mouth like cigarettes, etc.

There aren't nearly as bad of long-term effects as you mentioned as well.

Mind you I couldn't date a total pothead, but there are plenty of casual weed smokers and I think I could live with that, especially if it gets legalized.

Not in the slightest. If she's a good looking girl I'd still find her attractive, but her smoking would definitely lessen my attraction, and it would be disappointing.

It doesn't matter what they are smoking, the terrible smell is a major turn-off.
