I swear that Darth Caedus' lists are just completely random. So many of those bands have literally NOTHING in common beyond being metal. I don't think I've ever seen Xasthur sharing a list with Children of Bodom before, for instance.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure no one else really knows about them, but Savatage has some great stuff. No where near as popular as the bands listed by Darth I'm sure, but their music is just the greatest to me. Look up Hall of the Mountain King, Believe, When the Crowds Are Gone, Hounds, Gutter Ballet, Summer's Rain, Temptation Revelation. Theres more, but those are just my favorite.

Also, Megadeth - Tornado of Souls, Symphony of Destruction, Rust In Peace...Polaris. Overkill - Elimination, Overkill V...The Brand, Hellish Pride, Head On.
