hah, alright, i'll remember that for next timeThat is people thinking only about themselves. Its very common these days, I see it everywhere.
Its also why I sit at the back of the bus. People who sit at the front should know it is an unwritten rule that you give up your seat to the elderly, disabled or pregnant. Though, what I really despise is when mothers with strollers get on the bus, they force elderly/disabled people out of their seats because they are too lazy to fold up the stroller and put it to the side. *That* pisses me off to no end.

I could be a nasty *****, but I have to go now. ;/
Perhaps tomorrow!
Fine. I best be entertained tomorrow. Take it easy....I hate when people carry like 3 or 4 giant bags of groceries onto the bus. I feel like they're going to fall on their face. That is people thinking only about themselves. Its very common these days, I see it everywhere.

only time i've ever used public transportation was MARTA in Atlanta, and it's either been empty so we were the only ones on it, or it's been packed so right when we got on, there were never any seats available as it was.
I wouldn't give up my seat to the likes of rawsavon or xaos. Hell they are probably in better shape than I am.
I don't know... I think most of those Old Folks Home Union members have seen better days.I wouldn't give up my seat to the likes of rawsavon or xaos. Hell they are probably in better shape than I am.

 I thnk I'm going to start lurking that union now.
I always offer my seat to my elders. It's called respect. I agree that people are too full of themselves these days.
I usually tell old people to stand up so that I can sit down. Due to me having the appearance of an intimidating young man, I always get my way.
I swear I saw a commercial that is explaining your story. It was one of those "Pass it on" commercials; it was about Respect, singing "R E S P E C T, find out what it means to me, ..."Why does no one do this anymore, i was on the bus this morning and it was jam packed, i was sat near front of the bus when some elderly women got on so i gave my seat to one of them and to my suprise no one else did, it was only until the bus driver said something that people gave way, whats even worse is the fact that i could see people who had handbags and shoppingon the seat next to them so no one would sit next to them, i dont think people realize we all get old one day and i hope in the future these people have to stand on a bus and see how they like it

[QUOTE="Vinegar_Strokes"]im lucky to have a cycle path virtually all the way to where i work. Engrish_MajorYes, lucky. They've been planning one here forever, but the county doesn't have any money, so they say it will be finished in about 8 years from now :( They could ask people whether they want it. If there are many, they can ask for donations. It works in small communities. I don't know where you live but, you know, can't hurt to try.
