Do you smile with nostalgia?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMU2NwaaXEA

Also inb4 Internet elitists talk about how overrated 90's cartoons are and just be general elitists. They were fun enjoyable cartoons and the memories of that time with friends and your childhood are most important. Hope everyone had a meaningful one!

I personally loved Darkwing Duck though and man if you could hear my parents busting my chops about some of the stuff I'd do in tandem with the show...

I'm an elitist, and I adore '90s cartoons. I'd watch the theme right now, but my little brother falls to sleep watching the DVDs of it, so it's starting to annoy me.

Darkwing Duck was cool back in the day, though. Of course, I'm more of a TMNT/X-Men/Thundercats kinda guy.

Watched so much of that show when I was a kid growing up. Nostalgia Critic was right about that theme song though. So catchy.

It sounds like you're not even talking about how good or bad the cartoon is. It sounds like you're saying that it's awesome because it reminds you of a happy time in your life. And if that's the case, then I could easily saying that crapping one's pants in public is awesome. Because the year I crapped my pantsa in public was the same year that I first got laid. Even today, on the rare occasions when I crap my pants in public, it reminds me of that glorious time in my youth when I first got laid. So, crapping my pants in public has to be awesome. Right?

Anyway, I remember Ducktales. It was a pretty crappy show. Not the best, not the worst, it was just a cartoon about ducks. Any connection with my life or my friends was purely coincidental, and had absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the show.

Here's another that goes beyond nostalgia and is still good: Animaniacs.

Animaniacs is awesome but you guys probably just like it because it had a bit of subtle jokes that most young 'uns would never get that were able to slip past the censors so to speak...

Duck Tales is still sort of cute. It's definitely not one of the more moan-worthy of '80s/'90s cartoons. The movie is still decent for what it was. Garfield and Friends.... *shudders* Now that was bad.

90s cartoons are the best! I sometimes would turn on my TV to check out the Saturday morning cartoons and they're horrible. It's either Yugi-Oh or some other crap on. Now, I only watch Family Guy, South Park, and Futurama.

Speaking as someone who grew up watching that show, while the theme is catchy as hell, the show itself is very mediocre.

No, I don't need to, the theme is burned into my memory just like the damn ghostbusters and TMNT theme. Only a bullet would erase them.

Oh, and guess what else is there? Darkwing Duck and the **** Rescue rangers.

I think Tin-Tin was before the 90's wasn't it? Anyway this one is too nostalgic to the point of sadness because while stuff like Animaniacs and Ducktales is pretty popular, not many know of Tin-Tin and thinking about how young I was sitting on the floor eating eggs with the sun rising and shining brightly out the window is just too... heart wrenching.
