God, I hate my parents. How are your's?

There are a few extreme cases but most people seem to be ok with their parents.

3/10 days they suck balls 3/10 anoying/whatever 4/10 good/cool so overall they are ok

Are you sure your mother called her brothers daughter your Half-Sister?

I assume your talking about your cousin. Hopefully. If not, this thread is about to get really interesting as that would imply that your mother and her brother incestively created you, and then later on he conceived a child with someone else that was a girl, and she would be your half-sister.

mine are cool...but I rarely spend time with them...my dad usually goes to my soccer games if he's there. But he lives in the U.S. for half a year every year while my mom is always home. The only times when I actually talk to my mom is when I eat or when she drives me to soccer/piano/guitar. But now that I have a license that wont be necessary anymore :P.

ive always used the term half sister/brother for brothers and sisters who are related by one parent not two

i dunno maybe its different in america.

my dad fails to be a parent in every way, yet he doesn't resort to drugs, crime, or alchohol. He said he was going to commit suicide once, but made me angry by not doing it. He said he was going to get out of my life soon, but yet he remains. He shows no love whatsoever and I am finding it harder and harder to believe that my parents marriage was more successful than I thought.

My mom, on the otherhand, is a sweet person. She's pretty caring and the real good thing is that she's a social worker (or something), so if any of us is having any trouble, she knows exactly how to help.

In other words, my dad sucks and my mom rocks. And she cooks good chicken :D

My dad and I don't talk much :? he enjoys time alone painting things. :| Other than that when we talk he can be hilarious. XD As well as being a good cook.

My mom appreciates me since I try hard at times and help around the house a little bit. Then again its more than my other siblings do. She's also a strict religious woman so I'm not allowed to smoke/drink under her roof or in her presence even though I'm 21 years old. I prefer it that way too, since I would rather not witness the consequences of those actions. @__@

All in all my parents are very appreciative of me so I get along fine with my parents quite well whenever we're up at the same time since I sleep during the night and they the day. :) :|

My parents were great....but then they started posting on Off Topic. Ever since they've done nothing but get high, beat me, and watch religion debates on television :( I think their having marriage problems too, my dad keeps asking me for girl advice! :cry:aaaaarrrrggggg

oh dear :o As long as they don't debate on which system is superior then you're still safe, right? :? I say lurk more in the home... >_> but thats what I would do...
