Why this thread is stupid? There is no way to prove god exists nor doesn't exist. The absence of evidence is not proof. I doubt god does exist, but I realize I don't know if it doesn't, because there is no irrefutableevidence and I know I don't know everything. Some people think they know everything but that's a personal illusion.

As an atheist, this thread naturally caught my attention.

I must say that site is very interesting indeed, and does a very good job as summarising my thoughts and 'beliefs' on this matter, as it were.

Sounds better than being tortured for eternity for devoting your life to the 'wrong' religion - which must happen to most of the world's population, if any of it is true.

Anyway, these threads need to stop. The atheists spend their time trying to disprove religious peoples' beliefs - which, I'd imagine, would be seen as extremely insulting to them.
On the other hand, the religious people tend to say stuff like "Well, you're going to burn in hell for eternity", which could be seen as an insult, too.

Either way, it's just petty. You can't prove or disprove any of this, so it's best just to leave eachothers' beliefs alone.

yes i did. It gave literally no proof or put any doubt in my mind that God is real. Going through each popijt and arguing against it is just insane and just a waste of time but if i had hours to waste i could argue against every single one of them.
