i believe theres a thread identical to this somewhereDisturbedChild7
My night is officially ruined. Gamespot needs a redundant filter.
Man, a religous thread. We haven't had one of these in a while...:P Whats it been, 5 minutes?
Anyway, to the topic. History proves that God was the ultimate creation.
hoop_hard
and history was made by God. human minds made up the myth that God is a myth that isnt't God 'cause God is real 'cause God was first 'cause history stuff 'cause ahhhh im just confusing the hell out of myself.
God was first and made everything. nuff said.
i think god is real even for the people who dont there just has to be somthing out theredeadmeat59
Gods bodily fluids?
If "god" did exist, he's got some 'splain'n to do, cause he's a pretty terrible one.
Definitely not someone, I would want to admire, or associate with.
Good thing "he" only exists within the minds of the .... oh never mind.
Man created religion due to events they could not explain...
If there is indeed a god we most likely have no clue who, they are.. Their values, ideas etc.. And they probably do not even notice us because we are not even a speck of dust on the earth when compared to the entire Universe.. If anything I believe we exist through mere probability, and that this being wasn't expecting or caring that we came to be, or die out in the future.
Then again who is to say the Universe is not infinite and has always been here.. It seems mighty hypocritical to put the unimaginable immortality on the god with out at least considering that the Universe could easilly be that.
Evolution has explained everything so far, why do people still believe?
TalesofRaGnArOk
It doesn't explain how everything originally started. I'm not going to get into a religious argument with you, but don't make false statements.

Evolution doesn't explain how matter came to be or if it has been here for an eternity. Sure it disproves the Christian beliefs (most science from just about every field does this like for instance the earth being 6000 years old).
Hell we could have been created by a highly advanced alien race for all we know.

I just want to clarify something: not all Christians believe in the Young Earth theory (6,000 year old Earth).

Yeah didn't mean to stereotype. It was only a example, Adam and Eve is anohter, so is Noahs Ark etc etc.

Adam and Eve have not been proven or disproven, and niether has Noah's Ark.:|

Adam and Eve from simple genetics alone has contridicted it.. There is not enough in the gene pool tosurvive to todays race. Not to mention evolution which completely contridicts. Noah's Ark both science and common sense have proven it to be very questionable.. We would have trouble collecting all the species on the planet today, let alone a single guy trying to scale tens of thousands of miles over land that hasn't even been discovered at the time..
Lets not forget the vegetation and insects that would die out that would cause a extinction on mass levels because the food sources would be litteraly wiped out for thousands of animals.
Now accept this or not I am merely saying that science community has shown through their ideas to contridict ideas like this.

How does the gene pool disprove Adam and Eve?
That's if Evolution is true.;)
Questionable, yes, but disproven?
Insects also went onto the Ark; I'm not sure about plants.
