Its just for social awareness and acceptance, there is still a lot of stigma from people. When gay people can hold hands and kiss in the street without hassle then the gay pride movement shall stop.

so black ppl and other races who were dicriminated against had to figfht for their rights yet u dont see them complaining about a logo. they just want to be treated the same as everyone else so why should g@y ppl get a logo . its dumb and is just for attention. g@y ppl arent the only people that have gone through wat u have mentioned and infact they dont even get it as bas as many groups like african americans got it. its time to assimilate into society .

Why does there need to be more than a rainbow? Isn't the entire visible light portion of the EMS enough? In fact, it sounds selfish to me. They need to give away a few colors.

I fully expect one of those google doodles on my birthday.

The first question that came to mind was, why should any company have to "boldly declare support" for ANY of these 'fill-in-the-blank-pride months'? If they choose to, that's fine. If they chose not to, that's fine too.

What exactly have they done to gain the same level of honor as some of our history's greats? I support the LGBT community as well but you won't see me at a rally or parade. Sometimes acknowledgement is more than enough.

Well when gays get equal rights this will be put to bed. But untill then Gays will not stoping fighting. If there were no gay activists, we wouldnt be as far as we are right now. Many people realize this is huge issue that gays are denied over 1,500 benefits. Im guessing thats why its been getting so much attention. Some politicians are just... Ugh.. Politicians.
