Gordon - Levitt's Dark Knight Role Revealed

According to Variety, Gordon Levitt will be Alberto Falcone, the son of Mafia boss Carmine Falcone (played by Tom Wilkinson in Batman Begins).

"Alberto Falcone, who is also known as The Holiday Killer, would bring Nolan's superhero trilogy full-circle," says Variety. "The character fits with the helmer's stated intentions for continuity and preference to pit the Caped Crusader against 'realistic' villains, as opposed to cartoonish nemeses such as Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy."

Thoughts? I didn't see this coming, thought he would be the Riddler or etc.

I was worried he may have been Robin...phew

The more and more news I see on this movie, the less interested I am in seeing it.

Awesome. Now all we need is for them to confirm that Nolan won't be ruining the trilogy by having Marion Cottilard as Talia Al Ghul, and we're all set!

So far, we have quite the interesting characters in the movie.

Catwoman, Bane, and now Alberto Falcone.
