Graphics. There's nothing like getting into a storyline that feels like you're really there. Of course, it has to have good gameplay as well. Maniacc1
Storyline = Gameplay
Wootex made a really good answer to this in his blog about a year ago, and if I could find it, I'd post it. But it went something along the lines of;
"But the thing is, a really good game only comes around once and a while. We'll end up with about twenty good games in a year and a hundred boring, unfun, messed-up games. So really, I think that graphics are more important because they keep moving along whilst the sea of mediocre games piles up
Yeah, I pretty much ad-libbed that, but still, Wootex is a genius.

I don't agree. The storyline is just motivation to do all those crazy things games put you trough.If you mean grahpics as the atmosphere of the game, yeah. But I allways want good gameplay aswell (okami is Winnar :P). But seriously, I've put myself trough some really horrible games just because I was so caught in the atmosphere.. It's like Stalker, the gameplay is 'Meh!' but the atmosphere is just too awesome.[QUOTE="BlackAlpha666"][QUOTE="Maniacc1"]Graphics. What's that supposed to mean?
Both:
The gameplay is important to involve the player into the characters actions and to have something exciting and interesting to perform.
However, in most games the world has to be believable and effective in creating a plausible universe for whatever you do. It is the textures on the walls of a citadel, the lip synching on an alien life form, the dynamic shadows that loom over the characters figure, that allow us to be immersed into our actions and the emotional draw of the story.
