So today I experienced an absolutely beautiful display of instant karma.

Was at a GTA5 midnight launch. Was waiting in a secondary line for us peoples who hadn't finalized our transactions yet, so we were last to go through.

After a good chunk of the main line had gone, some tool comes out of the store with his copy, turns to my line, and mockingly says "have fun waiting!".

The tool and an idiot friend of his both hop into their respective cars and decide to try and be cool and burn rubber. The morons almost collide with eachother stopping at a freaking stop sign that is RIGHT THERE in the parking lot like 100 feet away from where they parked.

Now a common practice at these events is to have a cop or two posted around in case things get crazy. One such cop was sitting there parked just past the stop sign the idiots almost collided at.

They go ahead and start driving past the stop sign and the cop PULLED THEM OVER to the cheers of the rest of us still left in line.

The line moved along and I eventually got my copy and upon leaving the store looked and saw the two tools STILL PULLED OVER being questioned by the cop.

I went and made a point of driving by them and yelling "have fun waiting!" on my way out of the parking lot. Was such a wonderful moment of karma that totally made my night.

Anyone else love instant karma and what great examples of instant karma does OT have? Can either be a personal story or epic video. I really wanted to share this story and hear other such beautiful displays of life working perfectly for a change.

Honestly, this. The guys acted like dicks.. but who cares.. If he felt he needed to make a comment like that.. There was some obvious insecurity issues sitting within that one guy. I mean, why else would somebody make a comment like that lol

This x 100.

I don't understand all those people waiting in line at midnight to get a game that you can buy the other day.

Fair enough if it's limited concert tickets or something like that, but I would just sleep and get it the next morning without the queue.

There is a .GIF online (though I'm not going to post it) of a guy stealing a woman's purse and then almost instantly getting hit by a train.  It would almost be poetic if he hadn't died.

Eh, why not? I was out of there by 12:15 and had the game installed and ready to go by about 12:45 which led to a whole night of fruitful gaming. Plus there was free pizza there which was great since I hadn't ate supper.

What's wrong with this? It's not as if there aren't many people take advantage of this. So many people attend these things.

EDIT: I've only attended one of these things once and I don't really have any intention to do so ever again, but it was a ton of fun. Huge TVs set up for games with other people, free food, etc. Lots of great small talk with fans.

It's similar to those that go to midnight releases for a film.

I don't do it.. but if it makes a person happy.. Go for it.. I'm sure there's a bit more than standing in line and stuff. Possibly could meet some cool people and have some convos.
