opening this thread I knew someone would say Fight Club. I think it was way too easy to see. I saw Sixth Sense when I was like 9 and didn't even CONSIDER the fact that he was dead:P
EDIT: Can't believe I didn't think about Memento! That's probably one of the only movies that has made me say "holy S***" out loud!
I couldn't think of any, me not being much of a movie watcher. But I agree with Saw. That one was pretty intense.Saw.
The Sixth Sense.
Oh, and Unbreakable.
Theokhoth
Saw.
The Sixth Sense.
Oh, and Unbreakable.
Saw? Are you joking? How is it such a huge twist that he has cancer (if you havn't seen it, go see it. It's been out for like 5 years)? I think he's referring to the fact that he was the guy on the floor?Saw.

The fact that a guy can play dead, inches away from someone, for hours and have NO ONE even realize he is alive is absolute bull****.

Saw? Are you joking? True, but its a movie, and realistic or not, I'd say it was a pretty cool plot twist.

He took like some type of sedative that knocks him out And he magically awakens right at the perfect time when the guy walks out on his stump to save w/e is left of his family. But wait, he's obviously healthy enough to take sedatives, even if he is a cancer patient in the ICU a week before, and then walk out the door like nothign ever happened. Give me a break.
Psycho at it's time, The Shinning
The way Kubrick did it was amazing who knew we were shinning as well.
, also The Crying Game.

Maybe the sedative is meant to wake him up at 6am :o
se7en was amazing in the end.jakndaxter7223
Yeah, that was a pretty sick ending. As soon as you see the box, however, you kind of know what's up.
I see several people have mentioned Sixth Sense and Unbreakable...which were good suspense movies. I know I'm in the minority here, but The Village also had a great twist toward the end, and I prefer that movie over Sixth Sense and Unbreakable for the dialogue and camera shots. The colors and dialogue in The Village are great.
I forgot to mention The Empire Strikes Back
*spoilers*
Darth Vader is Luke's father!

Nooooooooooooooooo!
The twist in Oldboy just made me jump outta my seat. Holy cow! :shock:Yagr_Zero
I didn't do any jumping. I just cringed.
I don't really have a favorite. Though the ending of American History X stayed in my head for a while. It wasn't a plot twist, as it happened near the end of the movie, but although it seemed obvious and predictable after it happened, I really didn't see it coming for some reason, and it hit me pretty hard. Really sad :( Though I have to say that the worst plot twist I've seenin recent memory was Hancock's, without a doubt.
Btw, I feel really left out for not having seen any of the Saw movies... are they really as good as I hear they are?
Memento, Sixth Sense, (EDIT) Bioshock, Empire Strikes Backgamer_10001I forgot about Bioshock. That twist was insane. I'd also like to add the ending of The Mist. It isn't exactly a twist, but... wow...
