Couldn't take it seriously when I saw a trailer of it when I went to the movies.

my fav review:
"The lantern kind of resembles a funky bong, and if you were to make use of one before seeing Green Lantern, the film would be a lot more fun."

So there's hope for me that it might be somewhat enjoyable...
It seems that beside Batman and Superman DC can't get a break when it comes to live action movies. Thankfully they do have their animated movies.

Superman Returns wasn't even that good of a film.
Wait until it hits theaters. The "% liked it" is really the only thing you can trust. Sometimes people like crap but it's more reliable than the "% of critics liked it" because audience members generally aren't prone to pretension and elitism.

This^
I find that I generally enjoy movies with a higher 'liked' percentage, rather than what the critic review percentage is.
tbh I honest, I was not expecting this movie to be "good", just a lot of fun to watch
I still plan on seeing it.
I honestly thought it would suck as soon as I saw the trailer. Superhero movies are on the decline imo.
This is not surprising, though, I will see it myself. You see, I have a mind of my own. Other people saying the movie is bad because they think so doesn't mean I'll always think the same.

Audience members are generally piss-poor at actual CRITICISM, meaning that it doesn't matter whetrher or not they liked it.
i've learned to not care what they say. unless it's made by Quenton Tarantino, pretty much everything gets bad reviews from them.
We're going into Transformers 2 territory here. Not good.
This movie looked like crap anyways. Any trailer and/or TV spot clearly shows the problem. The CG. It's there, and you can see it. CGI should be invisible. If its there, it should look real. Pretty much everything in Green Lantern looks like it was made on computers.
With Ryan Reynolds as the lead actor, how could it not be a **** movie?

Treat yourself
Another superhero movie. After next year with some of the big releases like Batman I hope this fad ends lol
Tiring just seeing the trailers!
