GS Level vs. Post Count - which is more important iyo?

I find that doubtful, due to the percentage caps Soulreavercross had in his Levelling Guide.

Unfortunately, another mod replaced the Guide, and it doesn't have the daily percentage caps in it.

I just thought it updated daily.

It's supposed to start at 4:00 AM PDT, but if you're on during the wee hours - I've jumped up in % as early as 2:00 AM GS time.:lol:

Well I'm not exactly an angel. (; But I'm glad I've given you such a positive impression of me. I must be doing something right for some people then.

I don't particularly like looking at post count myself....but to put a positive spin on it....means I've found things to talk about with people I'd otherwise not have had the opportunity to meet....LJS9502_basic

Yeah, there are definitely good reasons to not have any negative feelings or thoughts about it, it's such a small and entirely irrelevant thing really, and if anything, it does attest to the notion that something of personal interest and pursuit has been found, putting it in the category of personal hobbies. It's just not accepted as a hobby in the broad social normative sense, which is where the slight dash of embarassment on my own behalf stems from.

Neither. I don't think tenure is what gets you respect, either here or in the real world. Post count is no measure of quality, but just quantity. Level is merely how long you've been here, but even that is inaccurate really as the moderation system seems to cleave off huge chunks of your user level these days. Ninja-Hippo

I think I have been level 36 for like a year due to that.. But in the end its pointless, I don't even pay attention to it because it denotes nothing.

I didn't have much of a post count then, I was mostly reading.

But like a lot of other people here, I don't see the need to troll others.

I've been trolled some, and it took a lot for me to ignore it. I dunno how I did it, it wasn't easy by a long shot.:P
