that wasnt the funniest burn I have heard on the radio
but it is by far the most perfectly executed one EVER!
That was...pretty bad. I'm not sure she deserved that for kissing another guy. That was downright awful.
It seemed like she was trying to get out of it by being a victim and that really pissed me off.jesus what a weak-willed, sappy, stupid woman. She was too stupid to even lie properly.
she deserved all that and more.

Wow...wow...wow  Guy was cold as ice! He crushed her soul! He preowned, owned, and reowned that [butt] :P lol
Girl: "I hate you.*cries*"
DJ: "Well, you're not even one of our listeners anyway."
XD
Zerocrossings
I know right? Those DJs were harsh as hell!
DJ: Are you sure you are ok with this? You said you didn't want a public proposal.
Girl: Oh, I mean...I'll take it however I get it!
DJ: Yes you will..
 XD
I'm almost to scared to finish lol. You know when something embarrassing happens and it's so bad, that even if it's not happening to you, you feel embarrassed? I have a feeling, that's how this is gonna turn out :PII_Seraphim_IIYa I closed it after they called her.
[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"]That was pretty harsh, especially when they start making fun of her, then again, apparently she cheated. Jazz_FanYeah when they started mocking her it seemed it a bit too much.
A bit is putting it lightly. I don't like hearing people get hurt like this, regardless of the circumstances. It's difficult to listen to.
I really hate these exploitation shows (this, cheaters) that capitalize on other people's pain for a few cheap laughs and increased radio ratings. Having the two disc jockeys making fun of her as she's all broken up was not necessary and was flat out cruel. The guy should also be a man and confront her to her face about it, in private. Not a very cool thing to do, regardless whether she deserved it or not. There's a time and place for this.

The way I see it, there's really no point in adding insult to injury. It really doesn't accomplish anything. What was done was done, him confronting her and breaking it off in person would be pain enough for both of them. Just to deal with that in such a detached way using others was wrong.
I don't like hearing people in pain in any event, and certainly don't enjoy hearing others gain pleasure from it. Regardless of circumstances.

Hey I dont like hearing people in pain, and I would have handled it personally. But I believe it's up to him how to handle it. She clearly didn't care about his feelings, so he has no obligation to care about her feelings. If you think about it, his cruelty lasted a moment, hers lasted over several years. You ask me, she got off lightly. If he really wanted to mess with her, he should have started screwing her mother or something :P And you know what? better he got this off his chest now, so he can move on. It's like in the airplanes when they tell you to put the oxygen mask on yourself first and then help anyone else in need. Same applies here, he needs to do what's best for his emotional health, not hers. We might not agree with the way he is reacting, but then again, we aren't the ones who went through all that crap.[QUOTE="JustPlainLucas"][QUOTE="II_Seraphim_II"] While I agree that this was harsh as hell, I have no sympathy for the woman. I do not think highly of Chris' (that's his name I think) character. I mean, sure, you can have your revenge if it makes you feel better, or you could just be a real man and just leave. Besides, some relationships survive infidelity, and even strengthen after time, but this one's completely shot, because he just had to do what he did. I'm not excusing her at all, I'm just saying this was definitely not the best way to handle the situation. Getting even is therapeutic. Being with someone for 5 years, you obviously have strong emotional ties to them, and just leaving, you may have been the better man, but you will still be angry. but if you get even, you no longer have anything to be angry about, and you can move on with your life without that anger and/or brooding air about you. Sure society tells you to be the bigger man, but sometimes it's in your best interests to do what's best for you, not what's best for society. Like I said in a post above, I really cant be bothered to plan something like that. I would just leave her and move on because to be honest, planning something like that takes too much time which I could spend getting other girls, but some people feel it's worth it. I have never been in a relationship with a woman that got so far that I wanted marriage, so I can't really comment. And like MW2 says "Don't get angry, get even" (I'm just using MW2 as the reference, because I saw it there and can't remember the original person who said it :P )
Anger can linger far after "getting even", believe me. If the relationship was anything considered serious (which, judging from her reaction, this one was), that pain and anger will not subside for quite a while, on both sides. As JustPlainLucas pointed out, now there is no room for anything else, as she's probably more than likely never going to speak to him again, which he sounds like he's fine with anyway. But still. People forgive, andthere would've been other options that simply are (probably) not a possibility anymore at this point.

I still think it is wrong. I don't care what she did how shallow and desperate for attention do you need to be to do something like that. That guy is a douchebag. If you want to break up with someone, do it privately. Relationships are personal matter, not a public matter.

After 5 years, three of which were spent in the same house, that guy has endured a lot to make that relationship work. He deserves to break up with her in any manner he sees fit. I thought it was epic and a glorious win for men who have been in an unfaithful relationship before (including myself).

The guy was angry so he did to her what she was doing to him, publicly humiliated her. I guess there is no taking the high road. This little stunt does not make him look any better. He could of just moved on. But that's just it, when deeply hurt, some people need vengeance before they move on. If someone hit my sister around, I wouldn't take the high road and I sure as hell wouldn't care about "looking better." I would beat him within an inch of his life AND THEN I would move on. Taking the high road is what society asks you to do, but what's more important to you? What society wants? or your own personal emotional health? Because let me tell you, vengeance can make you feel a lot better and finally allow you to move on. How much "vengeance" is enough, depends on each person and the emotional hurt. If someone keyed my car, I would probably just pull a stupid prank on them or yell at them. On the other hand, if someone killed someone I loved I would probably hunt them. Vengeance is directly proportional. The girl broke his heart, and publicly humiliated him, so he did the same.[QUOTE="II_Seraphim_II"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"] Eh. it's cIassless to do it in public.
