Guys I need to watch 2 movies, but I dunno what to pick

Okay so here's the thing....

My girlfriend is STRONGLY suggesting I watch the first two Twilight films, if I agree to watch them...we'll spend the weekend at the big city (Seattle) doing whatever I want.

HOWEVER....My dad feels like I'm missing out on watching The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. He tells me if I watch these two "amazing films" he'll pre-order ANY video game of my choice.

Question is, is my dad right? am I missing out on Shawshank and Green Mile? or should I give Twilight a chance?

Why can't you watch all four? This sounds silly to me. Watch the movies with the girlfriend, and then watch the others.

This shouldn't even be a decision. The former of the two options is absolutely unacceptable.

Only pick Twilight if doing what you want includes nonstop sex. Otherwise putting yourself through them isn't worth it. You could just read summaries and pretend you watched them though.Gallion-Beast

That being said, Shawshank Redemption is FANTASTIC. It is my favorite movie of all time. The characters are incredible, the story is incredible, you'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll be amazed. Its just an absolutely incredible movie.

The green mile is alrite, a little too "supernatural" in my opinion but its alrite.

On the other hand, unless you really enjoy romantic settings, themes you'll probably highly dislike twilight. I personally did not think they were that terrible, but def didn't enjoy watching them. However it was more boredom than disgust that I felt.

Watch Twilight now. There will be benefits later. :P
