Ramadan doesn't really fit in with western work patterns. People often have to get up before sunrise to eat and end up being very tired in school, adults likewise. But then we all have to be tolerant of other cultures, don't we?Memberino

There are about a billion or so muslims in the world. Plenty in the US and europe, plus we have people on the forums from the middle east. Not too surprising a large forum like GS has alot of Muslims.

Well...the Muslims I know aren't 'happy' as such come Ramadhan, but I see now that 'happy' refers to more of a positive outlook than a feeling of celebration.
