The globetrotters would get killed by ANY NBA team. There is a reason they are playing on the staged "globetrotter" team instead of professionally in the NBA....
Lawl, the Harlem Globetrotters aren't good at fundamentals of basketball, just cool tricks and amazing ball handling skills. They can't play good defense or run plays or be efficient on offense like NBA teams can.
This was a long time ago but the Globe trotters held their end pretty good against the team back then that dominated the NBA, and when you add the fact that the trotters clown around most of the time that really is not bad, you definitely can't say that any NBA team would beat them. But for the Globetrotters win or loose if they gave a good show then it's a winner, as for NBA if their only goal is to win. The NBA team in a blowout. The Globetrotters are entertainers. Don't get me wrong, they are FANTASTIC entertainers, but if the people on the team were actually on par with NBA players, then they would be playing for the millions of dollars the NBA offers. The Globetrotters would be called for double dribble, traveling, etc. every time down the court. Even with the lame refs that the NBA has.
The comparison is totally ridiculous, it's like comparing 2 different sports. The Globetrotters have spent all their lives practicing tricks and putting up a show for people to have a good time, I will see them in 2 weeks in Montreal and that's what I expect. The NBA teams practice with the goal of winning games. If the Trotters play against an NBA team and become very serious because they want to win, then they aren't the great Halem Globetrotters anymore, just a regular basketball team.

Jamario Moon from the Miami Heat (Toronto last season) used to be a Globetrotter. He's a pretty decent bench player. But yeah, ANY NBA TEAM would blow the Globetrotters out.

Pros would still win big like 40+ every time, especially this year for college. Though I think last year's KU or Memphis teams could at least make a game vs the Thunder respectable. The Thunder aren't even the worst team anymore. Kevin Durant would probably go for 60+ if they played against the top college team. In the Rookie/Sophomore game, Kevin Durant was unstoppable.

I don't know, the pros are so lazy. In college they actually try for the whole game, not just when it is close withing 2 min. of the end.
NBA teams are a bunch of over paid lazy players, many of them with no class, some rough and rude with referees others hit and fight etc... Globetrotters are the classiest team in the world, the best ambassadors of the game,as good as many of the NBA teams, play with respect, and if points were given for style the Trotters would give a good lesson to ANY of the best NBA team. So in my book HarlemGlobetrotters are the best team in the world when you consider, skill and style together. I'd rather watch them any day over NBA teams.
