I know the topic sounds really weird, but we were talking about serial killers in my law class and the Zodiac Killer was mentioned and we talked about how he would write letters to newspapers regarding how he killed his victims or demanded things (In one letter he demanded that people wear buttons on their shirt of him or he would kill a busload of kids). I was really interested by how mysterious he was so I went home and read up on him on wikipedia and later bought the movie Zodiac. For some reason he just fascinates me at how psychotic yet ingenious he was. Has a serial killer or other dark figure ever really interested you?

My dad has a great interest in serial killers and how their minds work and so do I. He got me interested in it. I really don't know what it is that draws me to learn about them. But the Zodiac movie is amazing. Easily the best movie of 2007 and one of David Fincher's best movies.

Well what happened was that one his first victims (one who survived) was located and asked to pick out the killer from a bunch of photos. He picked out the photo of a man named Arthur Leigh Allen, which just happened to be the lead suspect in the case on many different occasions. They called him in for another interview many years after the murders, but before you could make it he died of a heart attack. They still haven't actually proved he was the killer though

I tend to be interested in serial killers. I love watching American Justice and Cold Case Files. They're so addicting.

I was watching American Justice yesterday. It was about a serial killer who murdered 29 kids in Atlanta. It was brutal, yet so interesting.

Yep I read up on tons of serial killers and cold cases on wiki. I watched a special on Ted Bundy which was interesting. He was an intelligent law student before he murdered young girls. I also liked reading about the zodiac.

edmund kemper was pretty hilarious. he used to have sex with the severed heads of his victims.

he also buried the head of one of his victims in his mothers garden because she "always wanted people to look up to her." oh, that silly serial killer.

Not that much, but I did start doing a little research on the killer who killed with a specific gun. I forget what he was called.

No scratch that, there is one who lives a few doors down. He is a really cool guy when he takes his meds, other times, conversations just get weird. I mean seriously, if you are a cop killer in your spare time I don't want to know.

In the 9th grade I also developed a serious fascination with The Zodiac. His story is just so amazing, I can't believe how clever he was.

well I do enjoy reading about abnormal people, and serial killers are high on the list, It facinates me how some people can end up that way (through genetics and childhood traumas)

I do have one quirk tho, I do NOT read about serial killers who only targeted women, since I see them as weak.

I much Prefer people like Richard Leonard Kuklinski (the iceman) who basicly knocked off alot of people with connection to the mob world (as he himself was part of)

I've read about a few really messed up guys, like Ed Gein, who made masks and clothing out of human skin, or John Wayne Gacy, who had 30 bodies in his crawlspace.

The Texas Chainsaw Masscare is loosely based off of Ed Gein. Ed Gein never used a chainsaw, he didn't kill a lot of people, he didn't even use a chainsaw. Psycho was also based off of Ed Gein.

Serial killers and people like that interest me because they make me feel awesome about who I am.

Technically Ed Gein was not a serial killer. He only killed two people. The reason he is really famous is the grotesquness of his crimes, most of his furniture and "creations" were from graverobbing. He was so novice about killing when he killed the women he got caught for he killed her in the general store then dragged her body home and the cops just followed the blood trail. They found the victim gutted, and he was making what has entered the popular lexicon as a "skinsuit". He was trying to become his mother. But I would not call him a serial killer, ghoul is more the term I would use.

He was only convicted for two murders. There have been a lot of speculations that he murdered more than two people, but you're right, he's not a serial killer.

Charlie is not a serial killer, there is no proof he ever even killed someone,as far as I am concerned he shoudl not be in jail. He is only in jail because weak minded people are scared that he has "power" over others. I hate people that go on about that and do not trully get what happened there.

We have one right in worcester, massachusettes where I am. He kills hookers that all fit a very distinct profile. they have never used the term serial killer, but there are five hookers that all look the same, killed the same, and dumped the same, and the authoritys here are looking for the same guy for all of them. Last I checked thats a serial killer.

Just the basics. Killing hookers, killed the same way, etc..
