If so, how was it? Hard, easy, neutral?

Yes, once. Somewhat hard. All depends on what the waiters/waitresses do. Where I worked, all they did was take orders and talk to the people. Busboys - cleaned, set tables, got water, brought the bread, anything the waitresses asked us to do. There were also foodrunners, so the waitresses did nothing and got the tips.

It depends entirely on the restaurant.

I did it in two small diners. One was run by a complete ***** of an owner and was terrible. The other time I did it the job was easy and the owner was wonderful.

Chain places will be more strict, but you make way more money.

I worked at an upscale restaurant as a busboy... it wasn't very fun... but a lot of money. If you've got fluent and friendly social skills, a good memory then you're set. Otherwise it can be hard.

I worked as a busboy at a buffet restaurant. Busy as hell everyday. I hated it.

It depends, it was allright money. You got to hang out with people when it was slow, but you had to do a lot of work when it was busy. Its pretty easy, just clear and clean tables. But once you have established yourself, try to get a higher up job there. Like I started as a foodrunner/expo and now im one of the lead cooks, so you just gotta keep your options open so you can work up the ladder
