Yes, two years ago. I was nervous as hell and ended up making a thread just like this. Two were impacted and one had already come in. One of the impacted ones hurt like hell that I finally had to cave and get it done. I had been procrastinating the operation for years.
The first day is the worst. I went to the pharmacy after the operation to get a pack of gauze (you will need these). I was in a good deal of pain, but not as much as I was expecting. As soon as I got home, I opened my mouth near the sink to put in a fresh gauze when blood just started pouring out of my mouth, and I couldn't really feel it or stop it because of the god damn novocaine. I was prepared for this to stop after a couple of hours, but no dice. I just kept clenching on the gauze. It was such an annoyance that I ended up looking up an alternative: tea bags. Ended up going to my neighbors to get some because, of course, I didn't have any. The bleeding subsided a tad, but it was still bad. I was in so much pain that I basically just passed out after a while.
The next day was fine. The bleeding had stopped (kept worrying that my stitches got taken out, as I couldn't see them) and the pain wasn't as strong. It just got better from there. I went back to regular food four or five days later. I got so sick of having chicken soup that I didn't really care anymore.
So, in short, the first day is the worst. It gets better from there. FYI, I got the operation done without going under, which.. wasn't pleasing. You could hear the cracking of the teeth.
