What a stupid thread. Religion is one of (might be the most) important aspects in the history of humans. It has influenced human progress and morals in countless ways, to deny this means you would need to take a history course.
Yes there were some bad things commited by it, but bad things have happened without any religion involved. WW1, WW2, Vietnam, Korea, the Cold War etc....none of these conflicts had anything to do with religion. There was also mass murders against religious people commited under the Soviet Union.
Look at people like Martin Luther King Jr. He was a religious person whose faith gave him strength and inspiration. But this being Off Topic I don't expect many intelligent answers to come out of this thread.
Also if you have no God or religion than there is no such thing as "bad" or "evil" to you.

Seriously? Hitler was not a Christian or whatever he claimed to be. If he was a real Christian, he never would have killed anybody
