I don't know guys. Honestly, deep down, I like this song. It doesn't have some bad meaning behind it and it has a catchy beat.

coming from Soulja Boy it is good.

Its alright, probably his best song (that ive heard) but its still just a beat with generic lyrics, theres tons of songs just like this one.

So that's what that song is lol. Sammie completely makes the song imo; his parts are much better than Soulja Boy's parts lol.

I have to admit, I started dancing to the song. The lyrics aren't up to par though. Better than his first single though.

Well (and I know I'm butting in), I would probably call this song "formulaic".

This song, like the rest of Soulja Boy's work, is purely made to appeal to the mainstream listener and, as such, conforms to the same formula that many mainstream hits follow.

First off, category.

Girls.

Guy is away from girl and misses said girl

And that's about as deep as it goes.

Add in a catchy beat and hook and you've got a recipe for pure mainstream gold. The song itself doesn't have to be deep in the slightest (and this one is about as shallow as a kiddie pool) and the lyrics/rhyme scheme don't have to be particularly strong either (and they aren't).

This is typical Soulja Boy fare. Shallow, catchy and purely mainstream from top to bottom.

And that's why I hate it.

It better than some of his older stuff but its still a repetitive, garbage song for young teen girls.

I resent Soulja Boy, but I love Kiss Me Thru the Phone...there's an exception to almost any rule I suppose.

It's okay coming from him. His stuff is usually way worse.

The only parts I like are the ones where the other guy is singing. Everytime Soulja Boy starts rapping, I just skip through it on my mp3 player
