Count yourself lucky. I am 5ft5in !!!!! I'm a few inches away from being a midget you selfish pr!ck! Â (Joke! but I am that short though)
Let me give you some advice. Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you.ShadowsDemon
I do like this Tyrion quote and it is genuinely a good one to apply to real life as well.
You cant change genetics im afraid so without wanting to sound harsh you will have to live with it im afraid. It sounds like you have self esteem issues which are not easily fixed, you could join a gym and train which will help with those issues especially when you see yourself growing broader and bigger.
As you get older anyways you will come to realise that worrying about such issues are trivial and pointless and will eventually be forgotten as you get on with adult life.
bless u my child .... this guys is even shorter and still looks cool http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4e84mBjYvD4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7f0RKKZgnoCount yourself lucky. I am 5ft5in !!!!! I'm a few inches away from being a midget you selfish pr!ck! Â (Joke! but I am that short though)

I'm an 18 year old and I'm only about 5'9. My older brother is 5'10 1/2, and my younger brother who is 15 is only about half an inch shorter than me. While I feel about average for an "adult"I feel extremly short compared to most other people my age. For example, as a former senior in high school, most kids in my class were about 5'10-5'11, most people at the university I will be attending are about 5'11-6 foot. Also as a black British born student studying and living in America I feel extremly short compared to other black American university students. I'm towered over by virtually all of them. It seems Americans are even taller than British teenagers. How can I overcome my insecurity about my height? Thoughts?crazyguy111By manning up. I'm 24 and 5'7. The only person that cares about your height is you. The moment you stop thinking about it, it will have no impact on your life

That combined with a little social anxiety talking to girls and occasional speech impediments is probably why I don't have a girlfriend. Sure, I got a job and a car, but that's only half the battle. I have no social life (no friends) whatsoever. I triangle among home, school, and work most of the time. Right now it's just work and home since I don't go back to school till August 26, so at least I have something to feel happy about. :PÂ

I was wondering when people were going to figure out it belonged to Tyrion :Pwomen are extremely shallow. i always laugh when a woman says men are shallow..usually they are talking about a man wanting a thin, in shape woman. which is achievable. yet getting taller is out of a man's hand entirely yet sloots demand tall guys.Â[QUOTE="GrannyGoat"]
[QUOTE="LostProphetFLCL"]
I always SMH when I come across those super short girls who demand a giant for a BF. It makes no sense to me whatsoever. I remember seeing like 5'1 girls on OKCupid back when I was trying to find someone and they would state they wanted a guy who was 6 foot or taller.
Like seriously how the hell would that work out? Such a huge height varience just seems like it would complicate things to me.,..
LostProphetFLCL
Girls are shallow, women are not.
Those dumb girls who act like you were saying either grow up and become a mature women or end up staying stuck in their immature girl mentality.
If I can get a GF then obviously there are women out there who are NOT shallow, lol.
if only

lol, yea a one inch difference Brits are rather short for white people6'3 here. It ain't all it's cracked up to be. I mean sure... you can reach the items on the top shelf and no one f**ks with you but you stick out like a sore thumb on the dance floor. When you're trying to pull off your killer moves and you're towering over the rest it aint fun. Ofc this is solved with alcohol but that's another issue.
Tall folk also have the pain of getting clothes that actually fit. I'm a medium waist but i often have to get large tops because mediums aren't long enough, but then you've got a baggy top on. WHY CRUEL WORLD DO YOU MOCK ME SO?! Shorts become short - shorts :(Â
Also you can crawl into small spaces, you've got that! I salute you sir.Â
5ft 9 is average height for many Americans so... you're not short unless you're measuring yourself wrong.
Also who cares? I'm 5ft 7 and I'm mostly comfortable with my height because there are advantages and disadvantages, even for taller folks. The only downside to my height is that it somewhat limits me from dating taller girls but not completely. I would just have to work harder to get their attention.
You have nothing to worry about and shouldn't be a huge issue. Learn to deal with it and take advantage of your height. Develop some self-esteem and confidence. Grow a pair or something. I can go on.
But if you really do want to get taller, exercise (do a combination of weight lifting and cardio but more emphasis on cardio such as running, jumping, or basketball), eat healthy, and get some sleep. Basically mantain a healthy lifestyle but accept that you'll stop growing when you reach your 20s and height is mostly determined by genetics.

no, being 6' 3 is all its cracked up to be. You can only be decently attractive and still get way more attention than a handsome 5' 10 guy.6'3 here. It ain't all it's cracked up to be.
