Have Questions On Iraq War?

I was going to do this for my own good, but thought some of you all may have questions as well. I have a family member who did 2 tours working in intelligence in 04 & 06. My little brother is on leave right now, he's doing the door to door searches around Baghdad. If you have any questions you want someone there to answer put them on here and I'll ask away in the next couple of days and post responses with the name and ?.

So liberating an entire country from a dictator is no real cause for a war, and no real effect on the people.

since when have america been all about helping people? why arent they spending their billions on aid for Darfur, or on medicine for the people in Africa who desperately need it to combat malaria and aids?

Insurgents. If that's the right word there, the patroll the highway out of Baghdad where most of the IED's have been used, and his squads job is to try to find where they are made.

No offense taken. I understand, like I said I've been very vocally against it since day 1, and it's been hard having my little brother over there with my views and all. But I'll get you an answer if I can, but Saddams killings will also be part of that answer. And I agree with you there are many other countries in need we should be helping more. But bottom line, Iraq has oil. It's sad but true.

Very intelligent post. How many women and children were killed before we removed Sadaam (that dictator you seem to support). Check it out, educate yourself for a change. The massive civilian casulties are result of terrorist attacks, IED's and suicide bombings. The Iraqis are the ones who have no regard for anyone's safety, American's aren't drinking Iraqi baby's blood. But, I appreciate how trendy your view is. A reeaal conformist.
