Have You Escaped Death?

I escaped death when I was 7 years old. I was downstairs playing on my scooter when an entire window pane fell from the top of my apartment (17 floors) and crashed where I had been a split second before.

I escape death at every moment I live, as he has yet to find me.

I had a really bad sinus infection caused by N1H1 flu. That did not come close to killing me but I felt like killing my self. Crazy bad headache's and dizzness. Sucked bad for a week.

Haha just posted this in the Worst Moment thread but in 4th grade i almost got ran over getting off of the school bus, and i've had a couple of pretty bad four-wheeler wrecks but luckily I only got scratches from them, but they could have been way worse.

Worst one was when I almostfell down a river when I was like 4 luckily my sister caught me by my sweater.

That time I had to escape Planet Namek. Yea, pretty risky.

I almost got killed by a flying piece of metal in my workshop class, don't worry I dodged it.

I escaped death when a police officer was about to shoot me, man that was scary.

When my family used to live in Thailand, we were once chased down by a pack of dogs. Luckily, a motorcyclist came by, and the dogs chased him instead because he was a more interesting target I guess. Not sure what happened to him, but we were fine. True story.

A few times...barely avoided a car accident...had seizures when i was 3..grandfather had to save me...fell off a horse...could've broken my neck or ruptured my spleen..

I've escaped death numerous times.

• I dodged a snowplough during a blizzard while snowboarding.
• I got lost in the French Alps for the most of a day.
• While surfing my leash got caught on a rock. The waves were not giving me much breathing time as the wave sets where coming in close together and over 4ft. I didn't die of course.
• The closest to death I have ever been was oddly enough, while drinking a cup of hot coffee. For some reason I suddenly threw into coughing fits, I couldn't breath, I didn't know if to swallow the coffee or spit it out, I decided to swallow. This boiling hot coffee went down the wrong way and still I couldn't breath. I started to splurt and my body was no longer under my control, all I could do was cough. After a while I recovered, but then it was only just starting. My breathing was shallow and each breath came with a loud wheeze. I felt weak and I had a pain in my stomach, breathing was still difficult and I was having trouble moving, or even sitting in certain possistions. I had to stagger to where I kept an old inhalier and used it.. It did the trick. I didn't feel right for the rest of the day.

God knows what that was all about, I've heard of people dying to that sort of thing mind.

I nearly got hit by a truck while cycling...Weak, i know.

Mines not as bad. I got in a rollover crash with my trailer. Our jeep got totalled and our trailer was flattened. Nobody in the jeep was hurt though.

My brother drowned in a public pool though and when the lifeguards got him out, he was unconcious, but he's still alive today. No bigs, no bigs.

I went skiing for the first (and last) time. I was going down the hill really fast and my leg cramped up. I freaked out and didn't think to just fall down to stop myself. I instead crashed through a fence and fell off the side of the hill onto some rocks. I laugh about it now but I could have easily smashed my head against a rock. I remember thinking at the time "Well, this is it".

YES...very much so Told this before on here, but: Buddy is driving a 1972 Land Cruiser (basically a soft top Jeep with no top on) -runs stop sign -get hit -flip 7 times -break elbow off when arm gets caught b/w street and vehicle (that is all...thank God) His dad had just reinforced the Roll Bar the week before -w/o that we (all 3 passengers) would have been crushed to death)rawsavon

No close calls that I can think of right now...

But I think it's fair to say this guy and this guy are pretty lucky.

Yes. Today I was waiting for the bus. It was -20 celcius and I was one minute from freezing to death. But then the bus came and I was all good :D

oh yes... I'm very very lucky obviously... I had a motorcycle accident when i was 17... it's a wonder I didn't break any bones... I didn't wear any protective gear other than helmet and gloves... just jeans and leather jacket... just had a lot bruises and gravel under my skin around my knees... few burns from sliding on asphalt...dislocated shoulder... and a headache for a week...

it could have been a lot worse, I don't even wanna think about that... terrible... atleast I learned not to take stupid risks on high speed and that helmet and gloves are not enough for protection...

I doubt I would have died but lightning struck outside a window I was sitting next to about 3 feet from me and I lost feeling in the arm, shoulder, and side of my torso facing that window for a half hour. It was a strange experience.

I got leg cramp in the sea on the last holiday and started to drown but Hero lifted me out the water :)
