Yeah I've beaten it, it isn't that hard.
I believe the numbers say how many spaces away a mine is from that space. So you just have to deduce from that where to go next.
Edit: Yeah it's how many mines are near it not how many spaces.

I think I have. We used to play a lot of Solitaire, Minesweeper and Tetris in class, during high school. One day someone brought in SimCity 2000 and we installed it on all the PC's (this was before cd keys =P) and from then on, that was all we played.AllicrombieIt was oregon trail at my junior high
