Have you ever been banned from a forum. what was the reason?

Well, yeah, and it was because I had no idea the rules or anything, I was young and stupid, so I went off on someone.Franklinstein

Never officially BANNED, but there have been at least two occasions when I was so socially ostracized by that particular community that I couldn't return.

1) I was on a forum for people who keep live tarantulas and scorpions, and someone made a topic about how evil it is to kill spiders because causing unnecessary pain is wrong. At which point I asked for evidence that spiders actually DO feel pain. No one provided any evidence that spiders can feel pain, but the simple fact that I asked such a question on a forum consisting of total ****ing nutbags who treat goddamn spiders and centipedes better than their own children, led to me basically having to leave. I wasn't officially "banned", but I'd might as well have been.

2) And then, for a short while, I regularly visited a feminism forum. I got along with people there most of the time, but a big argument would arise every time someone made a topic about how men are garbage. And I'd be like, "what, do you think that I'M garbage? You didn't seem to have any issues with me before I told you that I have a penis And then everyone was like, "what the hell? Geezer is actualy MR Geezer? Get the **** out of here, you sexist male devil!" And again, not OFFICIALLY banned, but there was just a message sent that it was okay to flame and troll me since I'm a man.

Trolled a couple of lesser known forums, METRIC TONS of suspensions but no bans...

You have to really piss someone off to get banned on the internet...

I've never been banned from anywhere.

In fact, this is the only site I can recall that I've even been moderated at.

I registered for GameFaqs several years ago and was IP banned before i ever made my first post. It was physically impossible for me to have done anything. I laughed and then never used the site again.
